Artificial Grass Installation Wokingham – Buckthorn Close

This large family garden at Buckthorn Close in Wokingham had a natural lawn that had seen better days — thin, patchy and uneven, with bare areas and a gentle fall across the garden that meant it never quite looked right against the smart porcelain patio and sleeper-edged borders.

The homeowners wanted a clean, level, green lawn that would stand up to football and family life and stay looking sharp all year without any mowing or maintenance.

We installed 110sqm of our Titanium artificial grass, chosen for its dense, hard-wearing pile and natural look — ideal for big, well-used family lawns.

Before laying anything, the old turf was stripped out and the whole area was raised slightly and re-graded to take out the fall, giving a properly flat, even surface. A manhole cover in the middle of the lawn was lifted and replaced with a recessed manhole cover, so the grass runs straight over it and it’s completely invisible while still being fully accessible if ever needed. We then laid a compacted Type 1 MOT and grano dust sub-base with a weed membrane, and fitted the Titanium grass tight to the patio edge and sleeper borders.

As part of our sustainability promise, 110 trees were planted through our partnership with Ecologi — one for every square metre installed.
