A family lawn that couldn't keep up

This back garden in Fairmead Close, Sandhurst, gets a lot of use. With a trampoline, a dog kennel and kids playing out most days, the natural lawn had worn down to bare soil and thin, patchy grass, and the area under the trampoline had turned to mud.

The homeowners wanted a lawn that could handle family life and still look good all year, so we installed 50m² of our Titanium artificial grass, our most resilient grass.

The groundworks

We dug out the old lawn and laid a fully compacted, levelled sub-base with a weed membrane, so the new lawn drains well and stays flat however much it gets played on.

The installation

The Titanium was laid across the whole garden, cut neatly along the porcelain path, the decking edge in front of the garden room and the patio, with the trampoline and kennel back in place once it was finished.

The result

A thick, even lawn that the kids and the dog can use every day, with no mud, no bare patches and no mowing.
