Artificial Grass Installation Bracknell – Jocks Lane

The Jocks Lane project in Bracknell was a residential garden transformation for a family struggling with poor drainage. The sloping landscape caused the garden to be boggy and muddy, making it difficult to use, especially with children and a dog frequently playing in the space. Lawnify’s goal was to turn this garden into a functional and weatherproof area the family could enjoy year-round.

To address the drainage issues, the top layer of soil was removed and replaced with an easy-draining base. A pet-proof layer was also added to prevent odours from pet urine. Given the size of the garden and its good access, we used a digger for the ground clearance and a grab loader for waste disposal, ensuring the process was efficient and disruption was kept to a minimum.

In addition to laying the artificial grass, we installed a concrete base framed with sleepers to accommodate a future home office. This additional feature provided the family with even more usability for their outdoor space while blending seamlessly into the overall design.

The installation covered 161 square metres of premium artificial grass, which was cut, laid, and finished with kiln-dried sand and brushing for a flawless, natural appearance. The project was completed in just three days, leaving the family with a beautiful, mud-free garden that can now be enjoyed in all weather conditions.

As part of our sustainability initiative, Lawnify planted 161 trees—one for every square metre of grass installed—through our partnership with Ecologi.
